Provisional Psychologist

Bachelor of Arts (Psychology – UQ), Master of Counselling (UQ), Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy (QIPT) and Master of Clinical Psychology Candidate (2027) Â
I am a provisional psychologist and registered counsellor, currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology. I bring over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of clinical and community settings.
My therapeutic style is warm, non-judgmental and collaborative. I work using an integrated counselling approach that is tailored to each individual. I value being genuine, authentic, and present in my work, and aim to create a safe and trusting therapeutic space where clients feel understood and supported.
I began my career as a women’s counsellor within a not for profit domestic violence support service, before moving into roles as a children’s counsellor. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience supporting children and young people experiencing life challenges, emotional distress, and crisis situations. More recently, I have worked in family services, supporting individuals and families navigating separation, relationship difficulties, and gambling-related concerns.
As a mother of two energetic boys, I understand the complexities and pressures of parenting and family life, as well as the importance of maintaining healthy relationships alongside these demands. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my much-loved four-legged companions.
An provides therapy in both English and Mandarin and works on Tuesday and Wednesdays.
