Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Science in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, and a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience. Lisa is member of the Australian Psychology Association (MAPS).
After working for many years in research and academic settings, Lisa joined the Therapy House Team as provisionally registered psychologist in the beginning of 2022. Lisa has experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Lisa is supportive and rational, and has the critical skills to assess individuals’ and families’ needs and circumstances. Next to her work as a provisional psychologist at Therapy House, Lisa is a Research Fellow within the School of Public Health at The University of Queensland, with a focus on mental health research and suicide prevention; she has several peer-reviewed publications which you can access here.
Lisa is generally registered with APHRA and is awaiting her Medicare registration.
